Top Houston Spots for Ringing in the New Year {…with Kids!}

Christmas will soon be over, but the fun celebrations are not! As usual, Houston has plenty to offer. There are a number of fun, free, and family-friendly Houston New Year’s Eve events happening all around town. There are also many other holiday events that will be ongoing through early January. So if you don’t have a chance to do all the things you want to do before Christmas, there is still time to enjoy the fun. Check out the details below…

New Year’s Eve on the Square
Where :: Sugar Land Town Square
When :: December 31st, 6 pm – Midnight
Come out to be entertained by walk around entertainment, street performances, a kids DJ, and a fireworks finale!

New Year’s Eve Family Celebration
Where :: Kemah Boardwalk
When :: December 31st {Fireworks at 10pm}
Enjoy live music in the plaza and a firework show at 10pm.

Rockin’ New Year’s Noon Bash for Children
Where :: Children’s Museum of Houston
When :: December 31st, 10am – 3pm
Kids will love the parade, upbeat dance parties, arts & crafts, and of course, the countdown to the brilliant ball drop at the stroke of Noon.

New Year’s Eve Family Celebration
Where :: Downtown Aquarium
When :: December 31st, 11am – 1:30pm & 3:00 – 5:30pm

New Year’s Eve Historical Bash
Where :: George Ranch Historical Park
When :: December 30th {Countdown at Noon, Lunch at 12:30pm}
Don’t miss the countdown at Noon followed by a special New Year’s Eve meal at 12:30pm.  As an added bonus, guests can also enjoy the last day of “Christmas in the Park” traveling through history.
