Kelly, Founder

Kelly is the founder of Houston Moms Blog and has lived in this beautiful city nearly all of her life.  She has a degree in education from Texas State University and was honored to teach special education for eight years to some of the cutest little kiddos you could ever meet.  While teaching, Kelly met Cody – a tall drink of water and country boy to the core – and together, they fell in love, got married, and decided to start a family.  In March 2011, they welcomed Hayes into the world, a silly but smart little boy with a story you have to read to believe.  {Curious?  You can read it here.}  And in April 2013, their family was complete with the addition of Hadley, a super gregarious and oh-so-cute baby girl.  Now, Kelly devotes her days to caring for her own little ones…and would not trade this new job of hers for the world!  In her not-so-spare time, Kelly loves meeting up with her girlfriends for margaritas, failing miserably at Pinterest projects, and exploring this big old city with her two favorite little side-kicks in tow.  To contact Kelly, email her at kelly {at} houstonmomsblog {dot} com.

tiffanie-square-2016

Tiffanie, Sponsorship Coordinator

Tiffanie, originally from East Texas, has called Houston home for 10 years now.  She and her husband met during undergraduate studies at Stephen F. Austin State University.  They have one son, Preston {Jan 2011}, who was born with a very rare congenital heart condition and underwent a very successful open heart surgery at Houston’s own Texas Children’s Hospital when he was just two days old.  {Read all about his amazing story here.}  In October 2013, Tiffanie welcomed a daughter, Hadley, into this world. She adores seeing life and this great city through the eyes of her children. She is a practicing physician assistant, passionate about Endocrinology and diabetes. Committed to connecting moms and families to all the fabulousness of this great city, Tiffanie started serving as our Sponsorship Coordinator in January 2014. Her days are now filled to the brim with taking care of her family, her patients, fielding sales calls, and scheduling sponsored posts. Her favorite pastimes include drinking a full-bodied glass of red, retail therapy, a nice long run, and being near a beach – water soothes her.  To learn more and inquire about our advertising and sponsorship opportunities, please CLICK HERE.

Meagan, Project Coordinator

Meagan is a Dallas native who has lived in the Katy area for almost a decade. She kicked a soccer ball all the way to Louisiana to attend college at her family’s alma mater of LSU, where she promptly fell in love with a Texas Aggie in Baton Rouge for an internship. After swimming back to Texas following Hurricane Katrina, Matt and Meagan fell in love with the Houston area and now couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. Following several years of infertility, their miracle twins Ryan and Quinn were born in June of 2010. She believes there is nothing better than a chilled glass of Pinot Grigio, a large Sonic Diet Coke, sushi take-out, Girls Nights Out, and a mindless book to curl up with. Besides playing chauffeur and catering to the whims of her children, Meagan also works part-time as the Communications Director for a non-profit and does a bit of freelance writing with her “free” time. You can keep up with Meagan at The Clanahan Fam and on Instagram @meaganclanahan!  To learn more and inquire about our advertising and sponsorship opportunities, please CLICK HERE.

Kathryn - Square 2016

Kathryn, Event Coordinator

Kathryn, a Texas gal through and through, moved to Houston after graduating from Texas A&M University {whoop!} with a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management. Formerly a special events guru for the Houston Astros, Kathryn had a short stint in tax consulting before getting back to her creative roots with HMB! While not yet a mom, there are wedding bells in May for Kathryn and her soon-to-be hubby Mark. Her overly organized nature has certainly come in handy this past year – balancing planning for those upcoming nuptials and completing home renovation projects on a fixer upper {your average Chip & Joanna Gaines wannabes}. In what free time remains, Kathryn loves spending time baking, sipping red wine, and working out … breaking even with the sweets and spirits.  To learn more and inquire about our event sponsorship opportunities, please CLICK HERE.
