Marianne H

Born a second generation Houstonian, Marianne has lived in Houston her entire life, minus four glorious years in Aggieland. During her junior year, she met her husband of 12 years, Kevin, while working at a retail store where she just wanted an employment discount on ski apparel. And boy did she get more than she bargained for! She graduated with a degree in journalism, wrote and edited for local publications, taught high school English, and ran a photography and prop rental business before becoming mom to Buddy {Sept 2012} and Bug {Aug 2010}. After struggling with thyroid disease and P.C.O.S., Marianne now prepares family meals using only organic and hormone-free ingredients. In her free time, she enjoys event planning, writing short stories she may or may not ever publish, brainstorming new business ideas, photographing her two babies, and basking in their childhood creativity.
