Even though we are eager to jump right into the recap, we want to start by acknowledging two amazing mamas who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to make this event possible…and absolutely stunning too! First up, our talented event photographer Momma’s Gonna Snap who has such a beautiful way of capturing people and details and everyday life. And next, the gracious and creative Fiori by Lisa Wright who provided the most jaw-dropping floral arrangements that topped off our decor perfectly. We loved working with these local mamas, so keep them both in mind as you prep for baby showers, birthdays, or beyond!
And now, the event. The event! Oh, it was better than we ever could have dreamed, and that’s largely due to our presenting sponsors – Concierge Pediatrics of Houston and The Motherhood Center! We absolutely loved that as moms walked into the center, they instantly felt comfortable and at home. The rooms flowed naturally and were setup with chair massages, little nooks to take a seat, and smiling faces around every corner. And we were so grateful that both presenting sponsors were willing and able to share their tremendous knowledge and thorough backgrounds to answer so many questions during our Expert Panel Q&A.
And speaking of vast knowledge and willingness to help, we had a line-up of amazing table sponsors on-site to also answer questions, share new products, and educate attendees on so many different facets of life. Our friends from Baby Boot Camp were there with information on postpartum health and fitness as well as their awesome communities all around Houston. Taylor-Morrison was showcasing their stunning Houston homes, perfect for growing families. We loved getting to try out Crunchi Cosmetics and their toxin-free, organic products. And of course, we always enjoy getting a sneak peek at the latest from Happy Family – like their new Happy Mama Prenatal line.
In an effort to satisfy all of the new and expectant mama cravings, we brought in two of our absolute favorites… PDQ and Tiff’s Treats. Our mouths are watering just thinking of the PDQ spread – complete with crispy tenders, yummy salads, and ALL of those delicious sauces. And there is simply nothing sweeter than those cookies from Tiff’s Treats, which were delivered warm just minutes before our event began. {Insider Tips :: PDQ makes for a fun and fresh catering option for baby showers/first birthdays. As with all of our major events, we feature a local charity in an effort to drive awareness, collect items to help fulfill current needs, and leave an impact in our community. And for Bloom, we were so honored to feature Big Little JC Association whose mission is to assist families with children with severe disabilities to fulfill their daily needs and find the best possible care. Thank you to those of you who brought donations off their wish list. Your giving heart didn’t go unnoticed!
At the close of the event, each and every attendee left with a swag bag stuffed to the brim {literally!} with goodies, and a few lucky moms and dads even took home some fantastic giveaways too! We are SO thankful to the generous swag and giveaway sponsors below who absolutely spoiled our attendees with their wonderful products. We mean it when we say that we only work with businesses and brands that we personally love and trust, and we so hope you enjoy them now too!
