Children’s Memorial Hermann & Q.care Expand Urgent Care House Call Service + Coverage for their FREE Nurse Line

We are thrilled to again partner with Q.care, associated with Children’s Memorial Hermann, to bring you this sponsored content. We are so excited about their updates and extended hours, and we hope you find it helpful for your family too!

A few months ago, I shared my great experience with Q.care, and my daughter still talks about the time “that nice lady came to our house and helped me when I was sick.” Fortunately, none of my children have needed medical attention since then, but the app is right on my phone for easy access the next time I do need it.

In case you’re unfamiliar with Q.care, allow me to let you in on this busy mom’s life saver… You see, Q.care makes on-demand after hours pediatric urgent care house calls for common illnesses like flu, strep, RSV, and asthma – just to name a few. It’s a great alternative option to after hours urgent care, and providers can perform services such as flu tests, staples for minor lacerations, nebulizer breathing treatments, and even treat sprains.  Then, the next day they send the medical records to your family’s pediatrician for a continuum of care. And because I know you’re all wondering… Q.care, in association with Children’s Memorial Hermann, does accept most insurance plans, and the cost of the visit is simply an urgent care copay.  {Let all the moms rejoice!}

At the request of moms across Houston, I’m excited to report that Q.care has been busy expanding their hours and is working to provide the service to more markets in the Houston area. In The Woodlands and surrounding areas {zip codes – 77373, 77375, 77379, 77380, 77381, 77382, 77384, 77385, 77386, 77388, 77389}, house calls are now available during the following hours…

*NEW* Hours of Operation for House Calls::
Monday – Friday, 6 – 10pm
Saturday & Sunday, 8am – 10pm

For anyone who has ever had to take a sick or injured child to an urgent care center in the evening or on the weekend, these new hours will get an enthusiastic “Amen!” from moms in the area. Everyone else, be patient… Q.Care is working to expand to your area too!

Regardless of where you live in the Greater Houston Area, you can take advantage of Q.Care’s completely FREE Nurse Line. This gives me so much peace of mind that I have an actual experienced pediatric nurse resource {instead of just Dr. Google} to rely on when my kids have puzzling symptoms. The FREE Nurse line is now available to everyone in the Greater Houston Area {Monday – Friday, 6 – 10pm; Saturday & Sunday, 8am – 10pm}!

Q.care’s app is so easy to navigate, and setting up an account only takes a few minutes. I highly encourage you to download it today so it’s right at your fingertips the next time you need a house call or medical advice and an experienced pediatric nurse will help guide you to the proper level of care.
