How You Can Save a Fortune This Holiday Season {+ 10 Steals You Don’t Want To Miss!}

We are thrilled to partner with Give10Back via this sponsored post. As you begin your holiday shopping, be sure to check out their online shop for amazing deals ... and a chance to give back too!

I used to love Christmas shopping. The carefree days of browsing through stores for just the right find while sipping my white chocolate mocha, admiring Christmas decorations, and listening to holiday music piping through the sound system. However, once kids entered the picture, those days were long gone {except for my annual trip to Nutcracker Market…who am I kidding?}. These days, most of my holiday shopping is done online. I prefer for family members to send me links to wishlists and must-have items so I can click, ship, and be done. Maybe the creativity is gone, but I think some folks on my list appreciate practical gifts over kitschy things they’re just going to “misplace” in the new year.

All that to say, I was beyond excited to discover Give10Back — just in time for the holidays.  Similar in scope to a major retail store, they sell a wide variety of items. But the best thing of all is that they sell them at deeply discounted prices year round, and they do it with a social cause at the forefront of their mission. {Can I get some praise hands?} Each and every time you make a purchase, Give10Back donates 10% of the purchase price to your favorite charity, school, church, or charitable organization. So, what’s the catch? Well, there isn’t one. This company is simply run by good people who want to make the world a better place! Give10Back founder Walter Engelbrecht says:

“We created Give10Back to literally change the world. Part deal site, part fundraiser, and part environmental surrogate, Give10Back offers consumers products and brands they actually want and need at prices they love while supporting causes that are ‘near & dear’ to them – all while saving the planet!”

Not to miss an opportunity to get ahead on holiday shopping, here are some of my favorite finds at Give10Back. And while I shop, I’ll be donating my 10% to Bridge Literacy Now, which is a local non-profit focused on bridging the gap between poverty and literacy.  {But when you shop, the choice is yours!}

Brittney F
Originally from Louisiana, Brittney has called Houston home for nearly all her life. Brittney graduated from Houston Baptist University where she was a member of Phi Mu and a four-year cheerleader. It didn’t take long after graduation for her to meet her husband Jeremy on the sand volleyball courts at Memorial Park. She jokes that when marrying Jeremy, she also married LSU because she tied the knot with the most passionate Tiger football fan. Many weekends in the fall, they can be found in the shadows of Tiger Stadium at their big family tailgating party. Brittney has a Master's Degree from LSU and works in secondary education as an administrator and a cheerleading coach. Brittney and Jeremy have three boys, Connor {Nov 2012}, Parker {Nov 2014}, and Ryan {May 2018}. Brittney is a big baby-making, food allergy fighting, NICU surviving mom. Though she grew up surrounded by hairbows, pom poms, and lots of pink, Brittney now embraces being a boy mom. She loves raising her three boys and learning all about superheroes, baseball, and the pain of stepping on a lego when barefoot. In her kid-free time she enjoys working on craft projects, getting lost in a good book, and watching Grey's Anatomy.
