Friday, October 13th
Hocus Pocus Pops!
Location :: Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
Time :: Starting at 5:30pm
Cost :: Orchestra Seating – $20 / All other seats are free!
Head up to The Woodlands for an evening of spooky sounds and creepy creatures as Houston Symphony conductor Lucus Waldin leads a nightmarish performance! Plus, the first 100 fully-costumed boys and girls to check in at Hocus Pocus Central will get the chance to march in the Goblin Parade!

10th Annual Jack-O-Lantern Challenge

Thing your carving skills can’t be beat? Join the fun and enjoy the music at this annual jack-o-lantern challenge. The best part is… There is no charge for this event, and it includes carving supplies and pumpkins while supplies last!
Saturday, October 21st
Bridgeland’s 8th Annual Howl-O-Ween Fest
Location :: Oak Meadow Park
Time :: 10am – 4pm
Cost :: Free
Enjoy food trucks, kids’ activities, pumpkin decorating, trick or treating {for pets and kids!}, roaming entertainment, a magic show, pet product and service vendors, and lots more. There will also be a pet rescue group with onsite adoptions, and the pooch fashion show and costume contest are guaranteed to be a howling good time!

Location :: Houston Museum of Natural Science

At this event, you and yours can celebrate the fascinating world of bugs. Enjoy a bug petting zoo, gourmet insect cooking demonstration, face painting, monarch butterfly release, bugs & crafts, adopt-a-ladybug, and more! 17th Annual Fall Fest

Another free event that features games, inflatables, balloon twisters, cookie decorating, and LOTS of candy. Invite your friends and neighbors to come along!
Haute Halloween: A Dueling Piano Experience
Location :: Sugar Land Town Square
Time :: 7:30 – 9:30pm
Cost :: Free
Head to the Plaza for Felix and Fingers Dueling Pianos back again this year! Their interactive show is fit for all ages and laugh out loud funny, so grab your chairs … and bring your requests too!

17th Annual Thrill at the Mill
Location :: 7 Acre Wood

Cost :: Included in the price of admission
Play on the playground, visit the petting zoo, enjoy a round of mini golf, and zip down the rope slide… Then, check out the vendor market and purchase your tickets for hayrides, pony rides, pumpkins, and food!
3rd Annual HPP Halloween Event
Location :: Houston Party Playland
Time :: 10am – 2pm
Cost :: Children ages 1 – 10 years old are $10 {pre-sale} & $12 {at the door} / All others are free!
This is a great event for young kids and older siblings alike. The theme this year is Creepy Crawlers, and they have planned TONS to do – from a costume contest, mascots, and live bugs on display. Plus, they’ll have green screen photos, face painting, and fun raffle drawings too!
Deer Park’s 44th Annual Halloween Carnival
Location :: Jimmy Burke Activity Center
Time :: Noon – 3pm
Cost:: Free
Halloween activities abound at this fun-filled event, including a costume contest and a pumpkin carving / decorating contest. Carnival ride tickets and concessions are available for purchase too!
Tricks & Treats Among the Trees
Location :: Jesse H Jones Park and Nature Center
Time :: 3:30 – 7pm
Cost :: Free
Kids and the young at heart are invited to a free trick-or-treat nature trail with crafts, live creepy critters, games, hayrides, a critter storybook trail, and more. Proceeds from carnival-inspired games benefit Jones Park.
Trick or Treat On Our Street
Location :: Pearland Town Center
Time :: 5 – 9pm

Celebrate Halloween with the Pearland Town Center and ALL that they have planned! Head to the event page for a full schedule of events, but as a teaser – you can expect to find trick-or-treating, a costume contest, Hauncert performed by the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra, an outdoor movie, and more!

Dress up in your Halloween costume and enjoy crafts, games, and other special programs. Admission fee covers a fun make and take craft for the kids.
Trick or Treat Trail
Location :: Town Green Park

Dress in your Halloween best, and head out to Town Green Park for a festive and fun event fit for the whole family! While at the Trick or Treat Trail, kids will have the opportunity to visit booths and fill their bags with goodies from more than 30 local vendors. And as an added bonus, the event will also include children’s activities, strolling entertainment, inflatables, and costume contests.
City of Sugar Land’s Halloween Town
Location :: Sugar Land Town Square

Calling all witches, superheroes, princesses, and other costume-clad kids! The City of Sugar Land’s Halloween Town includes a costume contest, special entertainment, activity stations, and a pumpkin patch. Just be warned — no blood or horror elements are allowed at this event, as it’s for friendly ghosts and goblins only!

5th Annual Halloween Haunted House

This family-friendly haunted house will make you “scared to death” while taking a light-hearted view of a usually very serious subject. The haunted house is recommended for children ages 12 and up, and while children under 12 are welcome – they MUST be accompanied by an adult.
