Our Mother’s Day Wishlist

Helllllllooooo Moms!  Happyyyyyyyyy Mother’s Day to you!  Feels so great to be celebrated doesn’t it…kinda like a second birthday, right??  And since Mother’s Day is a gift giving holiday {woohoooo}, we’ve put together a list of the things accidentally ending up in our online shopping carts lately – but never actually making it to our doorsteps!  We feel slightly guilty about admitting what we’re wishing and hoping for, but y’all, we never pull the trigger on those shopping carts because we are spending all of our bonus cash on those sweet darlins who made us mothers in the first place…hahah!! This is our day, so Superdads – feel free to copy, paste, and purchase. We went ahead and linked the treats up for you!

1- Hunter Rain Boots :: I’ll take any color really.  We’re on the verge of afternoon shower season and camp pick-up never fails to start just as that first thunder crackles.  I really want matching pairs of these for the girls, but let’s just start with me!! {Jessica}

2- Keds y’all ::  Polka dot Keds designed by Taylor Swift.  Makes me laugh, but at the same time makes me want them even more.  Keds are staples in all of our kids’ wardrobes…t-straps for the big girls, canvas lace ups for the boys, and now polka dots for mom.  Yes, please!  I had a hard time picking my favorite, the Keds reinvention is working! {Jessica}

3- J.Crew Teddy Satchel :: We are both always in search of the perfect sized bag…not as big as a diaper bag, not as small as a clutch, must have a cross-body strap…SCORE! Some great color choices, but I’m going with with pale sky on this one! There may or may not be a J.crew 30% off code lurking out there! {Sarah}

4- Wine2Go Foldable Wine Bottle :: Let me repeat myself…FOLDABLE WINE BOTTLE.  Ahahahah!  Beach, concerts in the park…the pool???  Did I say BEACH! Is this the year that we only have one actual baby and sundown happy hour on the beach becomes a reality while the rest of the littles play??? {Sarah}

5- Drawstring Pencil Skirt :: I will wear this everyday of the whole entire summer. Done. I’m going to need Old Navy to offer this up in some big/bold prints! {Sarah}

6- Kendra Scott Studs :: We all scooped up a pair of her statement earrings last holiday season, if not sooner! But now, I sure would love some everyday studs so I can put them on with my pencil skirt and Keds.  Who’s with me? {Jessica}

7- Tory Burch Davy Flat Thongs ::  I may or may not have grown a foot size with each pregnancy {just like my Mom told me I would}, and now I need an updated sandal. Fun Color, fun cut-outs, CHECK Tory. Lucky for my best cousin, she wears my old size and is going to get my hand me downs! {Sarah}

8- Striped Rash Guard :: Are these too much y’all?? I can’t decide.  I’m freckly and fair and chasing my people around the pool and on the beach.  It just makes sense, right??   Here’s my question though…what do you wear underneath? {Jessica}

So what do y’all think?? Does your wishlist look similar? What are we missing?

Jessica and Sarah
Jessica and Sarah are tandem bloggers and self-dubbed ‘sister-cousins’ because sometimes the lines get blurred, and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Both New Orleans natives, these cousins transplanted to Houston after Hurricane Katrina and have never looked back. Jessica is the mother of twin girls, Laine and Olivia {March 2010}, and a sweet and curious one year old boy, Owen {Jan 2013}. Sarah is mom to Maggie {Aug 2011}, who keeps her on her toes, and the most adorable little brother, Jack {Nov 2013}! By day, Jessica is a stay at home mom, and Sarah works on the financial and managerial end of the healthcare industry. By naps, lunch breaks, and nights, they run an adorable children’s clothing company called The Little Crane Smocked Shoppe. Follow these two, their families, and their adventures in small business ownership on their blog…and don’t forget to show them some love at their shop too!
