Nursing Necklace for Busy Babies {Giveaway}

My newest addition, although only three months old, is a busy body when she nurses.  This girl is constantly kicking her feet, and if she can find a firm surface – she uses both legs to push off of it.  She’s constantly grasping at me while nursing, and many times she’ll grab my necklaces or my hair.  Now I certainly can see how the whole baby-playing-with-mom’s-hair thing can be super sweet, but I’m soooo over that.  My son was obsessed with my hair for the first two years of his life.  My hair was his lovie.  It was so bad that I used to trick him with extensions.  Proof available here.

Thanks to Artsy Finds 2012, though, I’m now the proud owner of a beautiful and super handy nursing necklace for Miss Hadley.  Here’s to hoping that it saves my hair and my sanity.  So far, so good.  I throw it on when nursing or just when she needs something to play with or grasp.   I love how the shop owner personalized it with Hadley’s name – it’ll be a great keepsake too!

Her days are now filled to the brim with taking care of her family, her patients, fielding sales calls, and scheduling sponsored posts. Her favorite pasttimes include drinking a full-bodied glass of red, retail therapy, a nice long run, and being near a beach - water soothes her.

  1. My little man is always moving when he is nursing. He grabs clothes, hair and even my skin!! This would hopefully save me from getting pinched 😉 I am loving this giveaway!!

  2. I love the idea of these! My little guy is such a fussy Eater it has made me wonder if I need to switch to formula instead of nursing. I think this would really help him Stay Focused On Eating! 🙂
