Shopping Made Simple With Sam’s Club Pickup

We are thrilled to be partnering with P&G at Sam's Club to bring you this sponsored post. If you're looking for a simpler way to stock up on necessities, we've got you covered!

Y’all. It’s Texas. It’s summer. It’s HOT. And you’ve got kids to contend with. And if Houston has shown us anything, we know that these temps will be hanging around until the good part of November. Sigh. I don’t know about you, but there’s absolutely nothing more frustrating than showering, packing all the kids in the car, dragging them into the store for those absolute necessities {i.e. diapers and wipes!}, and coming out in a foul mood because of the crowds, heat, and cranky kids. Just me? I don’t think so!

Which is why I was so excited to discover that several local Houston Sam’s Clubs offer Club Pickup. Now you can shop for all of those mom must-haves without leaving the comfort of your air-conditioned vehicle and lugging your kids into the store. With a child in middle school, one in elementary, and one toddler at home, I’m all about anything that helps me save time, sanity, and money.

I’m convinced that whoever invented Club Pickup must have been a mom, because if there’s one thing moms could live without, it would likely be dragging your brood out in the heat and into the store to pick up the things you need to keep your household running — Pampers diapers, Venus razors, Bounty paper towels, and Crest toothpaste just to name a few. Plus, you can score big instant savings on Pampers diapers and wipes right now too!

With summer quickly drawing to a close and all sorts of football practices ramping up along with all of the back-to-school rush, I decided it was a great time to give this service a try. It could not have been easier! Here’s how my experience went…

1} Log In & Add Items

Simply visit SamsClub.com and log in to your account to begin adding items to your cart. If you haven’t signed up for online purchasing before, it couldn’t be easier. All I needed was my registration number and my zip code. Done. Did I mention you can also use the Sam’s Club app?! I knew for sure I needed Pamper’s Cruisers for my super active {and super adorable if I may say so!} toddler. Since we are always on the go, you can’t beat the 12 hour dryness and less saggy rear of these diapers. I’m thrilled that they also carry Pamper’s Easy Ups so that once we are ready to train our little miss, she’ll have that feeling of real underwear without the leakage. {Side Note :: For my mama friends with tiny ones, you can’t beat Pamper’s Swaddlers and Sensitive Baby Wipes – lifesavers!!!}

2} Select Club Pickup & Choose a Date

Once I had settled on the items in my cart, I simply selected Club Pickup for the closest location and chose a convenient time when I knew I had a break in the kid taxi. Do make sure you pay close attention for those items that are marked available for Club Pickup though!

3} Arrive at Sam’s Club

I so appreciated the clear and vibrant orange signage of the Club Pickup location. And I’m not going to lie, I felt like I was cheating the system a little bit as I watched all the other patrons push their full carts through the heat. Major win and my A.C. in the car was still going strong.

4} Check In

This part could not have been easier. You can simply check in on your app to alert the team that you are there for your order. If you decided to order via desktop, just make sure you are parked in the drive-thru area and check in at the convenient kiosk with your confirmation and/or membership number.

5} Load Your Products & GO!

This was my favorite part, obviously. I didn’t even have to get out of my car while a friendly associate kindly loaded all of my goodies into the car. No register, no waiting in line, no trudging the aisles. In and out and I was back on the road to yet another football practice. Hello, game changer! When I got home, I checked out my haul and was pleased to see everything just as I ordered. In addition to the Pampers I so desperately needed, I also threw in a multipack of Crest Toothpaste for those back-to-school pearly whites, Venus razors refills for myself, because hello, summer, and Bounty paper towels. Can we just talk for a minute about how many paper towels this family of 5 goes through on a weekly basis? Unreal. I’m partial to the select-a-size because otherwise my boys will just rip off about 3 sheets when only a half would be satisfactory.

Hilary H
Hilary was born in Bryan / College Station to a Texas A&M family, but moved to Houston with her family before starting grade school. She grew up in various areas around Houston before attending The University of Houston where she was a proud Cougar cheerleader. {However, she swears she bleeds maroon!} She got married at a young age and had two beautiful boys, Bryce {May 2006} and Brayden {July 2007}. Although her marriage ended after only 4 years, Hilary and her ex-husband pride themselves in their co-parent skills. As a single mom, Hilary worked long days in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and boot camp business owner. So it’s no surprise that she met her now husband Cody at a local fitness competition. They got married in 2014 and balanced out their home by bringing little charismatic Zoë into the world in March 2016 - just before moving to Fulshear where they have planted their roots. Now, you can usually find Hilary screaming on the sidelines at her sons' football games or researching marketing tips. {She claims to have missed her calling in marketing, but here she is now!} She also loves coffee, wine, and family movie nights.
