All About Me ::

If you really knew me, you would know I am both a morning person and a night owl. I can stay up into the wee hours of morning and I can pop right out of bed at the sound of my alarm. You would know that my family is the most important thing to me, and I love them with every fiber of my being. I love Jesus and my church home, and I strive daily to be the wife and mother God has called me to be. If you really knew me, you would know that I have an addiction to Blue Bubblegum and Banana Snocones {don’t knock it ’til you try it}, and my iPod is the most random collection of music you could possibly ever find. From JayZ to Keith Urban. And Les Miserables to Addison Road – I love it all. My TV can always be found on HGTV, unless it is college football season and then you can find me cheering on the Aggies {Gig ‘Em} and the Crimson Tide {Roll Tide}. If you really knew me, you would know I am happiest at the beach, and I love the water. You would know that on my bucket list are traveling to Greece and learning to play the drums. If you really knew me, you would know that once upon a time my dreams included New York City and the Broadway stage and the thought of being a mom wasn’t something that even crossed my mind. You would know that now even though my days are devoted to carpools, play dates, diapers and chaos, I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the entire world.

Best Thing About Houston ::

There are so many things that make our city so great. One HUGE benefit of the city, especially for someone like me, is that the city is very kid friendly. We have amazing museums, a fantastic zoo, Moody Gardens, NASA and Space Center Houston, the beach, Discovery Green, and just so many attractions to keep our family busy. In addition to all the amazing things we have in the city on a regular basis, there are so many festivals and shows that pass through town that make Houston extra special. Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo anyone? My kiddos LOVE it. I love that I can expose my kids to so many opportunities and different experiences within our city, and I love seeing their adoration and appreciation for each of these places as they continue to grow.

Madisyn {9}

My sweet, compassionate girl has never met a person she didn’t like. She has the biggest heart and is a natural born leader. A fourth grader and lover of all things dance and music, she continues to amaze me at the sweet young woman she is growing into. She is an amazing big sister and a huge help around the house. Her current loves are One Direction, dance, her brothers and sister…and Menchie’s.

Megan {3}

My baby girl loves anything and everything animals. She owns approximately a bazillion stuffed animal puppies and kitties and would own a million more if we would let her. Megan is my spunky one and her sense of humor kills me. She is very quick witted and keeps us laughing constantly. Her current loves are Sophia The First, Doc McStuffins, ballet and tap, her sissy and bubbas, and bananas {she is so random}.

 Jack & Liam {10 months}

My sweet bubbas, they are my double blessing. Their little personalities are SO different but they continue to be such easy babies.  Jack is my wild man and Mr. Independent. He can usually be found trying to scale the entertainment center or getting into anything he shouldn’t. Liam is my laid back baby. He is very affectionate and loves music. They both love their big sisters and are growing more and more every day despite my best efforts to make them stay little. Their current loves are cars {or really anything with wheels}, cereal bars, music, and being outside.
