Is it just me, or are you totally and completely blown away by how easily your child handles your smartphones and tablets?  I seriously think that by the time my firstborn was just a year old, he was already playing games on my phone and clambering over me to get to any blue screen he possibly could.  And now my daughter…she is only eight months old, and she is already pretty much a full blown techno-baby too.  {Granted most of the time she is only chewing on my devices, but that’s neither here nor there!}  And while I definitely think it is appropriate to set boundaries and limitations when it comes to screen time and their overall access to the good ole’ world wide web.  {Can I get an amen for Jenn’s post a few weeks back?!?}  I also think it is really smart to start teaching your kids about technology at a young age too.   Because like it or not – that’s where our world is headed, and these little ones NEED to know their way around a tablet.

So when I was approached about checking out AIO Wireless and their Velox Tablet, I had to say yes!  They sent me out a tablet to test drive for a few weeks, and they would probably cringe to hear that I handed it right over to my not-quite-three-year-old little man.  Because after all, he IS the ultimate quality control tester…and his stamp of approval is incredibly valuable to me.  He loved the perfect size to it, and it seemed to fit just right into his sweet little hands.  He maneuvered around from app to app like a champ, and he took so much pride in doing it “all by self!”  And at the end of the day, he insisted that we keep it on his nightstand when he got tucked into bed.  {Not sure how he is going to handle us sending it back in a few days!}  So I think that I can officially say – it passed the test!
