Celebrate St Patrick's Day in Houston

St. Patrick’s Day is upon us once again!  And with all that’s going on, its always nice to have a reason to celebrate with {or without} your little ones. In honor of St. Patrick’s Day here’s a list of events that you can find a green craft {beer or the paper and glue type}. 

St. Patrick’s Day Events Around Town

St. Patrick’s Day Festival 2020 at Lucky’s Pub {Downtown}
Tuesday, March 17
94.5 The Buzz will be at this event to help you celebrate. You can expect over 100,000 square feet of party space, lots of green beer, delicious food trucks, leprechauns and bagpipers, oh my! Check their Facebook page for more information and a chance to score free tickets.

St. Patrick’s Festival 2020 at Lucky’s West {Katy}.
March 17-18
10:00am-midnight
Includes live music, green beer on tap, drink specials and DJ host all day. 

Houston’s  Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Saturday, March 14
12:00 pm 

This is a free, family friendly event and includes a two hour parade that has historically been one of the largest in the US. Check their site for information on the new route. 

Two Day St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck {Kirby & 59}
Tuesday, March 17
The fun begins at 11:00 am, and it continues throughout the day!

Family friendly options during the day for the wee ones {4+} which includes a tea party with faeries, lucky duck arcade, games and fun. Celebrations for the adults includes traditional Irish music and Irish Dancers, Irish food {their famous Shepherd’s Pie, Fish and Chips and Beef Guinness Corned Beef and fun! St. Patrick’s Day Festival at Levy Park {Upper Kirby/Greenway Plaza area}
Sunday, March 15
2:00-7:00 pm

Admission is FREE. Family friendly event featuring a leprechaun scavenger hunt for the kids, family photo booth, beer and wine concessions, food trucks and live music. 

St. Patrick’s Day Concert {Market Square Park}

Saturday, March 14th
2:00- 9:00 pm

A free concert, family fun and food. Followed by a Pub Crawl at neighborhood bars and restaurants.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and Tea Party {McGonigels Mucky Duck}

Tuesday, March 17th
11:00 am

Bring your little ones along with you to enjoy an Irish Faerie Tea Party! Tickets include food, crafts, and general admission to the festival. 

Story time featuring Pete The Cat and The Great Leprechaun Chase {Barnes and Noble near you}

Saturday, March 14th
11:00 am 

I’m not Irish, but I love the idea of blessing others. Here’s one of my favorite Irish blessings ::
