Houston Moms Blog is absolutely thrilled to present our Hop Around Houston Summer Play Date Series! {Join our events group here!} Beginning the week of June 18th and coming to a close the week of August 5th, we will host a new and unique play date at regular intervals throughout the summer. From cooking to trampoline jumping to music and more, we will have something for every age and will hit all parts of this great city throughout the series, too. I don’t know about you, but while I eagerly anticipate lazy summer days after the rigors of the school year, by week two I am on the hunt for fun, different, and inexpensive activities for my kiddos. Thus, we have worked tirelessly to accomplish all of that just for YOU! And by inexpensive, we mean it — tickets for each play date are just $5 per person. Yes, $5 and that includes all of the fun below!
So how do you get your hands on these amazing tickets? Great question! Each week, we will be highlighting a particular play date and a form to purchase your ticket will be embedded in that post. As a fair heads up though, tickets will be available in INCREDIBLY limited amounts, so be sure to jump just as soon as they go live. {Hint :: We have denoted below exactly when tickets will go on sale for each event, so write it on your calendar, tell all of your friends, and stay tuned to the Facebook event group for updates and alerts as those ticket releases near!}

Topgolf Webster’s Summer Academy is five days of non-stop entertainment and learning that kids will love. The program includes all of the components that make up the great game of golf. From chipping, putting and full swing, to the rules and etiquette, kids will learn everything they need to know to improve their game. Each Academy is designed and taught by their Golf Teaching Professionals in a fun, relaxed atmosphere. Summer Academy is staffed with a low student-to-instructor ratio to ensure each Junior Golfer receives in-depth, hands-on attention while he or she develops a winning golf swing.

Hop Around Houston with The Learning Sphere – Pediatric Speech Therapy & We Rock the Spectrum
Tuesday, July 31st

The Learning Sphere – Pediatric Speech Therapy in conjunction with We Rock the Spectrum will offer a Tips, Tools, and Play Date. They will have information and resources for parents of children with speech, language, feeding, social skills, stuttering, ADHD, and Autism. Their children will have the opportunity to play in the Sensory Gym at We Rock the Spectrum and Speech-Language Pathologists will be on hand to answer questions about how to stimulate language and engagement with their child during play at the gym.
This summer The Learning Sphere – Pediatric Speech Therapy will also offer speech therapy and Customized Enrichment Camps at the Campbell Learning Center for children who are Picky Eaters, have ADHD, Social Communication difficulty/Autism, Stutter, are Communication Device Users, or have Language or Speech Enrichment needs. Customized Mommy & Toddler classes for Picky Eaters and music based Language Enrichment will be available throughout the year.
