One of the number one requests you hear from your child’s school on testing days is… Make sure you have a healthy breakfast! So McDonald’s wants to make sure both students and teachers are fed and ready for the first day of STAAR {State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness} testing! On Tuesday, March 28th, from 6 – 9am, Houston area McDonald’s restaurants will provide FREE breakfast to students taking the STAAR test and their teachers.
“We’re proud to support local students and teachers in our community by offering free breakfast to kick off STAAR testing,” said Matthew Kades, President of the McDonald’s Owner/Operators Association of Greater Houston. “A nutritious breakfast is an important part of every morning, and we’re happy to help ensure students are fed and ready to do their best on the first day of STAAR testing.”
Children in 3rd – 8th grade are invited to visit a participating McDonald’s with a parent or legal guardian to receive a free breakfast that includes…
Choice of: Egg White Delight McMuffin {or} Fruit and Maple Oatmeal
Choice of: 1% Low Fat Milk or Apple Juice
Apple Slices
And as a bonus, 3rd – 8th grade teachers can also score this deal with a valid school ID. Limit one breakfast per student or teacher, and it’s for dine in only. Happy eating, Houston … and good luck on testing this year too!
**Please Note :: We are keeping our eye out for any other STAAR testing deals that may come up in the Houston area. Please comment below if you know of any too!**
