We are so excited to be partnering together with our sponsors at Prelude Music Classes for Children for a musical play date that both you and your little ones will love! This play date is specifically catered to children up to five years of age, and of course – the grownups who love them {parents, child care providers, grandparents, etc…} too. Be sure to come ready to sing, dance, and bond with your infant, toddler, or preschooler through the power and gift of music. Sing along concerts will take place throughout the play date, and we will be offering two back-to-back play dates to ensure that there are plenty of spots for you and your little ones to attend. It is going to be the perfect opportunity for you and your child to experience the joy of creating Music Together!
It is no secret that every child’s development benefits from music and movement. Director, founder, and mother of two, Dr. Ana Trevino-Godfrey believes that all children are musical and can achieve basic music competence if allowed to develop skills in a warm and loving musical environment. She was inspired to create a music school for children that allows them to grow and experience the benefits of learning together…and that is how Prelude Music came to be!
Ana and her exceptional team of teachers implement a very special, research-based program called Music Together®. Music Together is an internationally recognized music program for children from birth through age seven {although this play date is geared to kiddos up to age five}. This program groups children together to foster natural, family-style learning. The young ones learn from the older ones and the older ones learn from teaching the younger ones, and it is perfect for those of us with more than one kiddo and multiple schedules to juggle as well! As always, we encourage the use of social media leading up to the event as a fun way to spread the word, connect with new friends, and build our community. Our dear friend Momma’s Gonna SNAP Photography will be on hand at the play date to capture the memories, but we love when you snap pictures and share them too!
