{RECAP} Mom’s Night Out @ Langford Market

We, along with some of our favorite readers, kicked off summer just before Memorial Day with some of the best sponsors, some of the biggest giveaways, and some of the most amazing swag bags {including a handful of our first ever VIP bags!} at Langford Market.

In case you somehow missed out on the announcement and all of the social media coverage, Langford Market in the fabulous Rice Village were our gracious hosts and offered attendees an amazing night of shopping, sipping, and mingling along with a terrific {buy two, get one for $1} special. The store is full of great finds for summer — be sure to stop in, say hi, and snag some of their awesome summer pieces!

Crowning Details helped set the scene with glamorous tablescapes and super-fun backdrops.  It gets better and better each and every time we work with Julie and her team.  From party planning to party decor, they have always have us covered for all of our event needs.  And they even offer downloadable printables — you can check those out here.

Once again, we were absolutely thrilled to have Momma’s Gonna SNAP on hand to capture the beautiful event, stunning decorations, and all of the pretty mamas in attendance too.  We aren’t ever sure how she manages to capture all of the excitement and action with such ease and beauty, but we sure are glad that she does.  Oh, and we hear she is booking LOTS of fun summer shoots right now, so if you’re looking for a Houston area photographer – she’s your gal!

Of course, you can’t have a summer party without delicious drinks.  And Deep Eddy Vodka provided cool and refreshing cocktails for the attendees. I’m a huge fan of their Ruby Red flavor and have been for a while, but I did fall in love with their Lemon flavor at this event {and kicking myself that I didn’t try the Cranberry!}. This is a liquor cabinet staple and PERFECT for the sweltering, summer months.  And for those that enjoy their drinks pre-mixed and ready to serve, Candy’s Signature Cocktails brought bottles and bottles of their newly launched Honey Bee and Lemon Drop flavored cocktails. These were definitely crowd-pleasers, and we are so excited that they are available in stores all around Houston now.

The Tipsy Dessert Bar satisfied our sweet tooth with their alcohol infused dessert ice cream. No Blue Bell? No problem! Call the gals over at The Tipsy Dessert Bar — they will deliver! We promise you won’t regret it. It’s delicious, non-dairy, and makes for a super fun summer dessert.

Stephanie with KEEP Collective joined us again {you may remember her from our Date Night event back in April} as one our fabulous table sponsors.  There’s nothing sweeter than personalized jewelry and accessories in my opinion, and KEEP Collective offers it all. We were so excited to also partner with SWAG Essentials for this event. I love their bath and shower products, especially their natural deep cleanser bar which doubles as a shaving cream.  It’s so multifunctional which helps eliminate the need for a soap, an exfoliator, and a shaving cream. It’s all in one! I also appreciate that they helped me shop for Father’s Day well in advance {see also :: their men’s line will make great Father’s Day gifts!}.

Deer Lake Lodge helped attendees relax and unwind with chair massages throughout the night as well as educating attendees on their pure and simple wellness products and detox services.  We’re lucky to have Deer Lake Lodge just a jump and a skip away from us here in Houston.  If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful, rejuvenating getaway without spending hours in the car or on a plane, then look no farther and check out Deer Lake Lodge for sure.  And of course, Blownaway pampered attendees with touch-ups throughout the night. Buns became a head-full of gorgeous curls — all in a handful of minutes.  Their on-demand beauty service is a hit for so many different occasions, as you probably remember Chelsea mentioning here.

So, yes, this event was filled with fun and pampering, but it was also created to serve a purpose — to raise awareness and to partner with a couple of beautiful organizations to help support ovarian cancer research as well as patients affected by ovarian cancer. Ovarcome was our charity of choice for this event, and we love the outpouring of support by the attendees to fill care packages for their cause.  We also partnered with Auggie Apparel, an athletic apparel company who gives a portion of their profits to the fight against ovarian cancer.  They generously provided some of their fabulous apparel to a handful of VIP ticket holders, and we have gotten nothing but fantastic feedback about how soft and amazing their athleticwear is in this hot summer heat!

We filled two tables full of giveaway items for this event, and sent many attendees home as winners.   We adore our giveaway sponsors ::
