Summer Soiree Success {A Recap of our Night of Shopping with Kendra Scott & Friends}

Thank you to Kendra Scott and friends for such an amazing night out to treat our Houston mamas!

On Thursday, July 19th, Houston Moms Blog hosted a Mom’s Night Out at Kendra Scott in City Centre. With about 50 women in attendance getting make-overs, blowouts, and the VIP shopping experience, this was a night to remember {and do again!}.

When I walked up to Kendra Scott, I was greeted with a gorgeous balloon display from Glamfetti, adorable succulents from The Succulent Bar, amazing floral bouquets from Bubbles & Blooms Katy, and genuine, warm smiles. Houston Moms Blog could not have held this event without the help of our outstanding sponsors. We are so thankful to Kendra Scott-City Centre for hosting us and helping to put this event together.

Remembering We Are More Than Moms

So often I forget that I deserve a night out. I deserve to be pampered, a chance to get away with my closest friends, and treat myself. I had that opportunity at Kendra Scott. With 15% off my entire purchase, it was easy to load up on some beautiful jewelry. I loved the blow out stations thanks to Beautique Salon. I will probably never be able to replicate the beach waves they put in my hair {or the gorgeous mini makeover, thanks to our friends at Sephora}. My favorite treat? The chair massage station from Life Spa City Centre. My hands are still soft from the hand exfoliant.

The Food!

You guys, I did not come to the event for the food, but I can’t stop thinking about those banana bites from Eddie V’s. Raspberries and cheese bites just taste better when there are no kids around, amirite? The refreshing alcoholic spritzers from Mighty Swell were such a great touch. They were in super cute portable cans AND gluten-free, with low sugar, and contained no high fructose corn syrup or artificial flavors.

SWAG Bags!

The most exciting part was the SWAG I brought home with me. My VIP Swag bag included a pair of Kendra Scott earrings {that gave my boss Meagan serious FOMO!}, a couple Beautique hair salon mini products, a $50 Eddie Vs Gift Card , a gift from Glamfetti, an awesome succulent from Succulent BarSephora goodies, a Bella Green gift card, and way more! The orchid from Blooms and Bubbles? Still alive and STUNNING! The regular admission swag bags were similar, so you know everyone walked out of the event happy! And we were so thrilled to be able to gift a deserving mom 2 hours of free play care courtesy of our friends at Adventure Kids – Memorial City. {Go check them out for all of your mom’s night out needs!}

I cannot wait for the next Mom’s Night Out event with Houston Moms Blog. I went home happy, satisfied, and renewed to finish the summer with a bang! Even though the drama and kid fights started right back up the next day, I woke up knowing that I deserved that special night out. Once again, thank you so much to Houston Moms Blog, Kendra Scott, and ALL of the sponsors and giveaways. Let’s do this again soon.
