Thank You for Celebrating our 5th Birthday With Us!

Wow – what an amazing night! We are so thankful for the last five years and that Houston Moms Blog has become your go-to source for all things motherhood. Without you, we wouldn’t be here, so THANK YOU! If you weren’t able to come to the birthday bash, don’t worry :: We have more amazing events coming up in the next few months that you will NOT want to miss! Be sure to follow us on social media {Facebook, Instagram, and subscribe to Our Newsletter} to find out more.

{Pssssttt :: Donuts with Santa is next! Make sure you join our event group here. Tickets will go on sale next Wednesday morning and they are *VERY* limited!}

Huge thanks to our sponsors. Without them, we couldn’t do what we do. Thank you to our Title Sponsor :: Fresh Yellow Lunch Box for introducing us to this kid-friendly food delivery service. What an awesome {and EASY!!} way to ensure your kiddos are eating healthy, delicious foods. Check it out and soon your little ones will be foodies in their own right! We also had a BLAST at Multiplicity in Katy. It was such a beautiful and creative backdrop for our night! Don’t forget that they’re not just an event space. They offer FREE Girls Night Out workshops all throughout the year and jewelry classes in their shop as well.

What fun we had with The Succulent Bar, who helped us decorate a pre-potted succulent. We are happy to report that thanks to their expert instructions, many of our contributors’ plants are still alive! They always make us feel like we have a green thumb, no experience required. They’re a great company to have come out to your next event, whether it’s for work, a baby or wedding shower.

Matilda Jane, Scout & Cellar and Pure Haven were also in attendance showcasing their amazing products. Who doesn’t need more gorgeous kids clothes, wine shipped to your door and natural beauty products! We also had a chance to check out Hello Fresh! I just love their easy recipes and food prep plans. It makes my life so much easier when we are busy. And we can’t forget the amazing ladies at Bird’s Barbershop who were on hand to freshen up our hairdos including adding some incredible braids, curls and beachy waves!

Oh, man, and the yummy food. How lucky were we to get some Jambalaya GirlHasta La PastaDish Society, and Cutwater Canned Cocktails? That CAKE from The Sweet Boutique was ADORABLE and definitely hit the spot at the end of a great event.

We could not wait to tear into our SWAG bags once we got home! The Make-Up Junkie make-up bag, Ever beauty balm in the VIP bag were awesome! My kids absolutely loved the KIND Bars, and I have already placed my order for our Stuck on You Labels,. The air freshener from Beau Kisses smells amazing in my car and that bath bomb from Enfusia is calling my name tonight! And how amazing were those organic brownies from Food Stirs? I can’t wait to take advantage of the coupons and gift cards from Fresh Lunch by Yellow Box, Bird’s Barbershop, RIDE Indoor CyclingHiatus SpaMarshall Back and Body, and more!

I didn’t win a giveaway, but I’m lusting over that gorgeous Kendra Scott jewelry set, as well as the Houston skyline art piece from Shop Lamali, the planner basket from Plum PaperChef Dee Dee’s Cooking Class, Children’s Museum tickets, gift baskets from Cut Water Spirits, gift cards from Beautique Spa and Hungry’s Restaurant! So many of you were eyeing that custom slumber party package from Forty Winks and that Fish Fixe box too! I totally wish I had more tickets for that Texas Swag from The H Crew and the breastfeeding care box from Simply Mom To Be. And the gal that won the ballet flats from JaVie? So jealous!

The Ballard House is so excited for all of the AMAZING pantry and household items that you guys brought. Their mission is to provide temporary housing for patients and their caregivers coming to the Katy/West Houston area medical facilities for treatment of life threatening illnesses, free of charge. Thank you so much for helping us to support them!

All of these awesome photos we are sharing are thanks to our professional photographers from 1822 Photography. It’s amazing to see the pictures from the event and the SMILES on everyone’s faces! That balloon garland backdrop from Glamfetti was so beautiful, too. And can we talk about our emcee for the evening, the always dapper and hilarious Shannon LaNier? We are so grateful he could join us for the evening. Make sure you check him out on the newly revamped CW39’s Morning Dose!  If you took pictures, please share them with us on social media with the #HMB5thBday.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you Houston! You make this wild ride so worthwhile. Thank you for sharing your night with us.
